Academy news

Plenty of options for you...

For those that may not have visited our indoor teaching studio which we refer to as 'The Academy', we are giving it a little makeover with some slatwall being put up and some new club fitting stands and racks. We have 4 major brands on offer including Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway and PING and have plenty of options in all of them.

Whether you fancy trying a new club, having a golf swing analysis, doing a gap test or playing a round of golf at Wentworth or many other top golf courses in the world, you can do all of this in the comfort of a nice warm indoor studio using arguably the world's best and most accurate launch monitor the GC Quad.

Callaway Fitting Day

Drivers: what's in your bag?

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be looking at what you’ve got in the bag and where there’s room for improvement. There’s only one place to start, though, right? The one we all love letting rip and hate watching fly out of bounds… It’s the driver!

How are you getting on with your driver?

What sort of driver have you got in the bag right now: a friend, an enemy or simply an acquaintance? If you can pummel a drive dead-straight down the fairway, lucky you! If not, maybe it’s worth looking at what your driver isn’t giving you. Distance? Forgiveness? Control?

Putters: what’s in your bag?

A putting stroke may look like there’s less going on than when you swing any other club in your bag, but there’s a lot at play when you’re nudging that ball towards the hole. So, how can we get a putter in your bag that works in tandem with your own stroke?
