Although I am missing all of our members and visitors while we are yet again forced into our third national lockdown, it has been so nice to hear from some of you whether it's via this newsletter, our Facebook page or direct contact.

Golf on Tour

Success at the final hurdle

Chris Kirk showed us how golf is more than just a sport at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The multiple-time winner had to walk away from a successful golf career in 2019 due to mental health struggles and alcoholism, getting himself on the road to recovery. The PGA Tour gave him a chance to regain his full status over a limited number of events, culminating at the Sony Open, where he needed at least a two-way tie for third to secure his card for the 2021 season.

Well, an outstanding birdie on the 72nd hole left him in a two-way tie for second for one of the most heart-warming comeback stories imaginable. Not only that but it's also a great example of making sure you keep going right until the very last hole.
