Golf on Tour

There’s no place like home, right?

That was certainly the case for Christiaan Bezuidenhout as the South African went back-to-back on home soil, winning the Alfred Dunhill Championship and South African Open for his second and third European Tour titles.

Having struggled on Sunday’s front-nine, Bezuidenhout looked in danger of blowing a five-stroke lead over veteran Jamie Donaldson. However, he found comfort in the arms of his irons down the stretch: Finding greens and attacking pins when it mattered most.

Professional's Day

We're hoping it's 4th time lucky...

This weekend coming (12th & 13th December) it's Professionals Day! We are hoping that it's 4th time lucky and are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather plays ball.

This year's Professionals Day is being held on both Saturday and Sunday because of the lack of light and to give everybody a chance to enter. We have already seen 30 plus teams enter across the weekend and wanted to thank everyone for their support!

We still have one or two times on Saturday available and have plenty of available tee times on Sunday too, so if you think you can get a team together please do message Chris or the Pro Shop team and we will get it booked in for you.

We currently have three members looking for a 4th person to make up a team, so again even if you're an individual entry please do get in touch as I'm sure we can find you a team.

The format is 1 score to count on the first 6 holes, 2 scores on the second 6 holes, three scores on the next 5 holes, and all 4 scores on the last hole.

The cost is £10 per person which includes a bacon bap on arrival too. It's sure to be a fun couple of days so please get your team entries in before the tee times go.

We're all going to need a waterproof jacket over the coming months. Any old jacket won't do though; it needs to be golf-specific so you can still swing a club with ease.
